Spacefleet Online is merging into Federation Sim Fleet under the following terms:

  1. SpaceFleet Online will become a Sub-Fleet of FSF, under the name of Space Fleet. Space Fleet shall have two "Fleet Sites", one at the FSF Server, on which the fleet will carry the name: "Space Fleet (SFOL)", and the other, at SFOLWeb.com, which will carry the name: "SpaceFleet Online: An FSF Sub Fleet"

  2. Space Fleet Command will consist of a Scott2 as Fleet CO and MikeM as Fleet XO. They will be the immediate supervisors of the Space Fleet Hosts.

  3. All current SFOL GMs will be grandfathered in as FSF Hosts. They will have the same opportunities as any current FSF Host to fill openings in FSF.

ADDENDUM:

Due to concerns raised regarding the various procedural and clerical changes involved in this merger, the following addendum will outline the expectations for the different levels of players from SFOL, upon execution of this merger.

  1. Fleet Command
    Space Fleet Command will handle administration and management of Space Fleet Hosts and Games. They also represent Space Fleet in all Fleet Command discussions and votes. They are supervised by FSF Admin (FSF CO and XO).

  2. Hosts
    Hosts will handle the administration and management of their respective game(s). They are expected to use approved FSF Host Screen Names, and email addresses for their Hosting activities. Hosts must maintain accurate roster information within the AMS and use the report generation tool to report their sim's activity each month to their Fleet CO and XO. Games that do not currently have websites, will have them created on the sb254 server.

  3. Players
    Players must register an account in the FSF AMS which they can use to manage any and all of their characters. This is the only way that a character can be assigned to a game's roster, so it is imperative that all players do this, in order to keep accurate records.

Any future issues or problems not addressed by this document should be immediately brought to the attention of the FSF Executive Officer (currently FSF Truce) for clarification and/or discussion.
